May 2025’s theme was Shaping the Journey.

A journey can mean a lot of things - a physical journey from A to B, a journey through time, or even a personal reflective journey. I embrace this variety in this month’s theme.

The classic novel for May 2025 is ‘Orlando’ by Virginia Woolf. This novel is a true embrace of the idea of the journey. Orlando takes place over 300 years and challenges gender constructs and time.

I thought this novel captured the meaning of what a journey is beautifully.
